Some info about me.
What I do
I started working at BBC TVC in 1991, enjoying a huge range of shows and experiences. then left in 1999 to go freelance, and haven't looked back!
My work these days tends to be split between TV studio/location recording and post production at my own facility in North Acton.
My passion has always been for music, and luckily over the years I've gained a reputation in that field and now tend to specialize on those types of shows. In post production I also regularly mix many genres of documentary programmes.
TV studio/location recording
I love a festival, and over the years have been lucky enough to mix the music at Glastonbury, Latitude and Leeds festival. Having spent many years working in TV studios, particularly BBC Television Centre, the industry is now increasingly turning to locations to record. This means more and more use of OB trucks and dedicated sound mobiles. Luckily I have an amazing alliance with some of the top sound trucks in the country to ensure a smooth day with great results.
Post production
My studio is in a purpose built facility called Parallels, North Action. There are many other creatives on the floor, including musicians, fashion houses and equipment designers. It all makes for a very creative atmosphere.
My own dedicated studio consists of 2 rooms, a main mix room, and a VO booth/ prep room. I can deliver mixes in stereo, 5.1 and Dolby Atmos 7.4.1.
How I work
Once you get me on board I will facilitate the entire sound workflow of your production. From booking the sound crew, planning how the show will be done and booking what equipment is needed. On the day of the show I will ultimately be in the mixing chair, and once recorded, I will ideally be overseeing the post production of the final sound mix.

My Post studio has a shared kitchen and chill out area, with a bar and parking!
